Week Six Update- Upper Camp 2021

As we end week 6 of camp, it has been wonderful seeing so many returning campers as well as having new faces join our programming, as we get to see friendships form and community building take place throughout camp.

As you probably already seen, it was a tie dye extravaganza this week!  Across campus, in every group, upper campers were designing their shirts.  Everyone visited a tie-dye station and designed their very own RISE camp t-shirt.

The weather was on our side too, and the groups spent a lot of time outside.  Our art classes have set up outdoor studios where they paint, bead, and draw.  Campers have been creating clay tile landscapes with clay and painting beautiful birdhouses along with making, designing, and laminating bookmarks.  Campers in costumes have been roaming campus finishing their Movie Magic Makers film.  The Grove has been busy with spirited capture the flag games and the baseball field has seen some great kickball games too!  Our scientists have been busy making bubble solution, play dough, volcanoes, and completing the always popular egg drop contest!

Activity time has also given campers to explore their interests and enjoy some of the RISE Camp classic games.  From Rubik’s cubes to friendship bracelets to four-square, Activity time is as popular as ever!

It’s been another amazing week at RISE camp, and we hope to see your campers back next week!
