Monday, March 24th

Squash Camp (9am-12pm), Grades K-6: $75

 

Nursery/Pre-Primary Students (7:30am-3:00pm), $135

Jewelry Making 
Unleash your creativity at our Jewelry Making, where you'll dive into a world of hands-on crafting and design! Led by Rossi Donesky, former RISD illustration instructor, this camp is packed with exciting projects to wear and share! Learn the art of making stunning earrings from various materials, such as clay, and shrink art, and express your personal style by designing custom hair accessories, including beautiful fabric bows in a variety of patterns and textures. You'll also get to decorate your own jewelry box and craft a custom stand to showcase your creations. 
Explore the world of wooden crafts as you carve and paint personalized pieces for earrings and necklaces. Create dazzling paper beads, and foam bracelets, and bring them to life in unique jewelry designs. Take your friendship bracelets to the next level with a variety of weaving techniques, and craft your very own keychains to share with friends. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned maker, this camp offers endless opportunities to showcase your creativity!

 

Studio Playground 
Join Studio Playground at Moses Brown School for a one-day acting camp! Students learn fundamental acting tools, play movement and improvisation games, and create and perform their own original show - all in one day! Studio Playground teaches classes for all ages based in clown and physical acting including weekly classes in Providence and our annual summer camp in Lincoln Woods State Park. We invite students to come as they are, play ferociously, and celebrate! This camp is intended for students of all abilities and levels of experience. 


Professor Gizmo’s Animal Aviation Antics
Adopt a stuffed animal from us and design their aviation wardrobe! A flying helmet, a scarf? Bat wings? A tutu? Build your own plane out of recycled parts, and send your new friend on their first test flight down our zip-line, and then end the day modeling your fashion creations on our fashion show runway! Each camper will bring home their stuffie, wardrobe and aviation creations.

Marvelous Discoveries (Grades 2-6)

Did you know that science is all around us? Science is an adventure in asking questions, making discoveries and sharing fascinating information!"What is potential energy and where can I find it? How do elevators work? Why do rainbows sometimes appear?"Campers will explore distinct and unique hands-on activities that engage them in a discovery of further knowledge in physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth science and biology. This camp will be the destination for enjoyment with and learning in science!
 

Chess
Moses Brown School is proud to offer our students the magic and joy of chess instruction from Chess Master Connections (CMC). CMC programs are dynamic, thoughtful and FUN! Learn life skills of winning and losing well, creating a plan and following it, and focusing on you and your opponent’s actions and the importance of creativity all masterfully imparted throughout their instruction.

Each session includes cooking, baking, and garnishing tasty meals and snacks, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fruits of their labor! Daily cooking challenges inspire creativity as kids experiment with flavors, ingredients, and presentation. It's the perfect mix of learning, teamwork, and tasty fun for aspiring chefs!


Professor Gizmo’s Tabletop Foosball!
Our tabletop foosball game is so much fun to play - and now you can build your own!!
Build and paint your frame, silkscreen your own field logo on your playing field, customize your players and you’re ready to play your friends and rack up some points! Will your goalie be a cyclops? A superhero? A gnome?  It's up to you!

Professor Gizmo’s Build-A-Gnome-Forest
Who lives in the magical gnome forest outside the castle? Winifred the witch, Fiona the fortune teller, and gnomes of course! Each camper will receive a gnome stuffie to design gnome fashion (you can’t have too many gnome hat accessories!), a gnome treehouse and fairy friends to live in the magical forest!

Professor Gizmo’s Claymation Movie Making
Lights! Camera! Action!  Create your movie set with our recycled parts, design your clay characters and film your own stop animation movie adventure!
We'll view some excellent stop animation films and choose a musical accompaniment for your movie masterpiece.

Art Camp (Grades K-1)
This March, join us for a fun-filled art camp where young artists will explore the wonders of nature through creative projects. Campers will experiment with printing using paint to create vibrant insects, colorful nature drawings using chalk pastels, and design pressed flower/leaf bookmarks.  A perfect mix of nature, art, and imagination for young creators!
