June 11–15; July 9–13; July 30–Aug. 3; or Aug. 6–10

Full-day: 8:45 a.m.–3 p.m.; Half-day: 8:45–11:30 a.m.

Ages 7-13

Each day, campers learn healthy stretching and warm-up techniques. During morning track exercises, campers choose to participate in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, or hurdle events. During afternoon field exercises, children explore long jump, triple jump, high jump, and throwing events.

At the beginning of the week, coaches evaluate campers on a national standard age-related performance chart. By the end of the session, campers will receive a progress report noting improvement in their chosen events.

Children who attend half-days may join other MB camps in the afternoons, but must register separately.



Registration begins January 1, 2018. MB Camps will be closed on Wednesday July 4, 2018 in observance of Independence Day.

Paul Janaway

Camp Director Paul is a fully qualified European licensed coach. He played semi-professionally and managed senior clubs in England. He has coached many teams in Rhode Island over the last 17 years winning cups and leagues with various teams. During the school year, he teaches physical education at Henry Barnard School in Providence.
