My First Lemonade Stand

August 9-13

Half-day:  8:45 – 11:45 a.m.     $260

Grades K-2

SPARK Business Academy is thrilled to welcome you to “My First Lemonade Stand”. Praised by Business Weekly, this week-long experience will put you on the fast track to entrepreneurial pursuits, consumer-driven marketing, and crafting the best tasting lemonade! Over the course of the week, campers will delve into a different realm of lemonade stand business development. The week begins with a close look at Shark Tank kid entrepreneurs who have started their own lemonade stand businesses. Campers will use these strong examples of entrepreneurship to create their own business name, logos, slogans, and mission statements. Meanwhile, students will collaborate on taste tests, lemonade recipes, budgeting basics, money counting skills, and customer etiquette! To solidify this empowering experience, students will culminate the week with a lemonade stand where they donate proceeds to the charity of their collective choice. As RI DOH guidelines allow, we hope to invite family and friends to attend!  Safety is our top priority.  Please know all RI DOH COVID procedures will be followed and adjusted as necessary.

Lemonade Stand will be run under the direction of Chuchi Arevalo, CFA, CFE  SPARK business academy
