Forensics: Crime Scene Investigations

Have you ever wondered how law enforcement detectives use science to catch criminals? How realistic are the methods depicted in your favorite crime dramas and books? What does a forensic entomologist do?

In this camp, you’ll become a member of an elite Crime Scene Investigation Unit and discover, in a safe and fun environment, the scientific techniques used to investigate crimes.  After learning and practicing how to collect and analyze evidence including fingerprints, fibers, hair, dental impressions, tool marks, ballistics, blood spatter, and DNA, you’ll put your new skills to the test to solve a crime and create a mock crime scene of your own to challenge your friends and family.

If you enjoy solving puzzles, hands-on learning, and mysteries – come be a crime-fighting camper!
