July 29–August 2

Full-day: 8:45 a.m.–3 p.m.;

Half-day: 8:45 a.m.–12 p.m. or 12–3 p.m.

Moses Brown School partners with Chess Master Connections (CMC) in offering week-long chess camps to beginning to advanced players, ages 5-14. The staff is comprised of World Champions, International Masters, and enthusiastic instructors.

CMC instructors have inspired and delighted their students with gifted, fun chess instruction. The life skills of winning and losing well, creating a plan and following it, focusing on you and your opponent’s actions, and the importance of creativity are all masterfully imparted throughout their instruction.

Throughout CMC’s instruction, many young students are now ranking #1 in the USA in their age division, many have become Masters while still in elementary school, and some others have achieved the dream of playing in the youth World Championship.

Snacks and water will be provided to all participants during camp session, although full-day campers should provide or purchase their own lunch.

Half-day participants may join other MB camps in the morning or afternoon, but must register separately.

Tuition includes: t-shirt, work folder, photo, certificate, and chess board and pieces.

Registration is open! MB Camps will be closed on Thursday July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day.  (Soccer Camp will be closed July 4th and 5th.)
